Alpenglow Hair Studio is a six-chair luxury hair salon in Palmer, Alaska. Full time full service stylists at Alpenglow make anywhere from $6,000 to $10,000 per month. We are always taking inquiries, and we are happy to hear from anyone in Palmer, Wasilla, the wider Mat-Su Valley, or Eagle River.
What We Offer
Clients. Alpenglow averages 80 new guests every month. You won't have to chase your own bookings. We do encourage promoting yourself every chance you get, and we provide business cards. But we can keep guest flow strong as you build your clientele.

How You Level Up
- 5+ years of experience? Start at Level 2.
- General salon prices increase yearly.
- Your first 7 months move on time.
- Starting at Year 1, your rebook rate and your retail conversion rate are how you graduate levels.
- Rebook rate is how many guests book their next visit before they leave. Retail conversion is how many of your guests buy product.
- Each level after level 4 adds $10 to your ladies cut prices and $10 to your processing services.
- Your commission grows to 60%.
- We track your numbers every Monday, and evaluate them for graduation every 6 months.

We have training and systems based on extensive research data over hundreds of top salons around the country to help you grow your numbers so you can be as successful as possible at Alpenglow. We know what works, and we want our stylists to be the best in the state of Alaska.
Who we are looking for
Customer service, communication, and listening skills matter mountains more to us than your skill with hair. Hair mishaps can be fixed and learned from, But people will never forget how you made them feel. (We provide specific up to date customer service training.)

- Licensed in Alaska, or ready to get licensed
- Full service — cut, color, and style
- Experience preferred, but not required
Still In School Or Recent Graduate?
Come talk to us. 60% of graduates quit doing hair within the first three years, 30% of those quit in the first year. Why? Coming from outside Alaska
Alaska does not have license reciprocity with other states, you'll need to apply for a 6/mo temporary license through the Alaska Board of Barbers and Hairdressers. We help walk you through it and rebate the fee after 6 months.

Keep it simple. Send your name, your phone number, and your Instagram. You're also welcome to drop by, meet us, and tour the salon anytime. Your Instagram is your portfolio, no resume required. We will not use a resume as a decision factor.
